As a Senior Valuation Associate in our Financial Valuation & Advisory practice in Gurgaon, you will play a crucial role in delivering business valuation, equity valuation, and financial reporting valuation engagements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking assignments in various service lines such as Business Valuation, Equity Valuation, Financial Reporting Valuations, Private Equity Valuations, Intangible Asset Valuations, Complex financial instrument valuation, and Valuation of early-stage and growth-stage companies.
- Leading client interviews and discovery sessions, managing project economics, timelines, and engagement deliverables, and researching target industries and market trends.
- Building and reviewing financial valuation models using methodologies like DCF Analysis, Comparable Company Multiples, Precedent Transaction Analysis, Market Approach, and Asset-Based Approach.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of financial statements, reviewing financial forecast models, and applying knowledge of IFRS standards relevant to valuations.
- Utilizing industry-standard databases for peer benchmarking, transaction data, and market intelligence, and conducting quality research to collect and analyze sector data, financial forecasts, and competitor information.
- Working independently on standard engagements, complying with organizational rules and professional standards, and maintaining documentation integrity for all engagements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Qualifications: CA (Chartered Accountant), CFA Charterholder or CFA Level II / III candidate, equivalent professional qualifications, and additional certifications like ICAI Registered Valuer, CMA, or CVA are advantageous.
- Technical Skills & Experience: 59 years of hands-on experience in business / financial valuation, strong understanding of IFRS / Ind AS valuation standards, proficiency with databases, MS Word, and PowerPoint, experience in team management, and excellent client-facing communication skills.
