Infrastructure Engineer - Sharepoint Admin (Gurugram)

Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Sharepoint Admin to join our team and work on an exciting project focused on developing and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint and Exchange systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SharePoint and Exchange solutions, as well as managing and maintaining the existing systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of the systems and provide technical support and guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server environments
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of email services
• Configure and maintain user access permissions, security groups, and distribution groups
• Implement and enforce email security best practices
• Configure, manage, and maintain IronPort or similar email security appliances
• Collaborate with business units to understand their requirements and design
• Implement and customize SharePoint solutions to enhance collaboration and document management
• Provide support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and address user inquiries related to SharePoint Online
• Establish and enforce SharePoint governance policies and best practices
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software, system, or test engineering, with at least 4 years of experience in Exchange Admin, SharePoint, and scripting using PowerShell
• Experience in designing and developing SharePoint solutions, including custom workflows, web parts, and event receivers
• Expertise in managing and maintaining Microsoft Exchange systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Solid knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks
• Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2 level
