Remote User Support Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Remote User Support Technician to provide technical assistance to users from a remote location. The ideal candidate will help troubleshoot technical issues, guide users through solutions, and ensure smooth operation of computer systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide prompt and professional frontline support to staff and users experiencing hardware, software, or network difficulties.
• System Maintenance: Set up, configure, and maintain desktop computers, monitors, and peripherals (printers, scanners, projectors) across all workstations and computer labs.
• Software Management: Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and essential software applications (including Tally, Python environments, web design tools, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace).
• Network Troubleshooting: Resolve basic local area network (LAN) and Wi-Fi connectivity issues to ensure uninterrupted internet access.
• User Administration: Manage user accounts, perform password resets, and control access permissions securely.
• Documentation: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets and log all technical issues and resolutions clearly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows / Mac operating systems.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Experience with remote support tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Remote Desktop, etc.).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in IT helpdesk or technical support.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and customer support tools.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹216,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
