Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Carnatic Music Teacher to join Enthuziastic .

You will be responsible for conducting engaging and structured online sessions for students of different age groups and skill levels, building their fundamentals and love for music.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct live online Carnatic music sessions (individual & group)

Teach basics (Shruti, Swaras, Alankaras, Geethams) and progress to advanced levels

Prepare students for assessments, events, and performances

Provide timely feedback and track learner progress

Create a positive and interactive learning environment

Coordinate with parents and the internal team regarding student updates

Requirements

Educational Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music with specialization in Carnatic Music (Vocal or Instrumental).

Certification or formal training from a recognized Carnatic music institution or guru is preferred.

Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience teaching Carnatic Music to children and/or adults (online or offline).

Solid foundation in Carnatic Music theory and practical (Shruti, Swaras, Alankaras, Geethams, Varnams, Kritis, etc.).

Ability to structure lessons for beginner to advanced levels.

Excellent communication and presentation skills for virtual classes.

Ability to keep students engaged and motivated during online sessions.

Experience in preparing students for performances, assessments, and competitions is a plus.

Technical Requirements

Stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home studio setup.

Good quality microphone/headset and webcam for transparent audio and video.

Familiarity with Zoom and other online teaching platforms.

Ability to use virtual whiteboards, share notations, and integrate digital teaching aids effectively.
