Technical Writer

Technical Writer Shift Details: Rotational Location: Pune Role Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Technical Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality documentation that helps our users understand and effectively use our products and services. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to develop clear and concise documentation tailored to our audience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user manuals, product guides, API documentation and online help content.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, support) to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a consistent tone, style, and voice across all documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Organize documentation for usability, accessibility, and discoverability.
• Create diagrams, screenshots, and other visual aids to enhance documentation.
• Review and edit existing content to improve readability and ensure consistency.
• Participate in documentation planning and review processes.

Required Skills

• Working experience in any tool like Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare etc.
• Knowledge of content management and help authoring tools like HelpNDoc, RoboHelp (Adobe)
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and developer documentation.
• Experience with diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart, draw.io).

Prerequisites

• Qualification - Graduate or Postgraduate.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 8+ years
