• Operation &
• Monitoring
• Operate and monitor 66 kV / 220 kV substations
• Handle SCADA systems for real-time control and data monitoring
• Ensure load management and system stability
• Maintenance Activities
• Preventive & breakdown maintenance of:
• Power transformers
• Circuit breakers (SF, vacuum, oil)
• Isolators, CTs (Current Transformers), PTs (Potential Transformers)
• Transformer oil testing (BDV, DGA basics)
• Protection &
• Control
• Work with protection relays (overcurrent, differential, distance protection)
• Fault analysis and tripping logic understanding
• Relay testing and coordination
• Switching Operations
• Perform safe switching (line energizing/de-energizing)
• Follow LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures
• Prepare shutdown permits
• Safety &
• Compliance
• Follow electrical safety standards and grid protocols
• Maintain earthing systems and lightning protection
• Ensure compliance with grid codes and regulations
• Documentation &
• Reporting
• Maintain log sheets, fault records, and maintenance reports
• Prepare daily/monthly performance reports
