Part Time HR Assistant

We are searching for a Part-time Human Resource Assistant for our client located in Burlington, NJ

Hours-24 weekly-Monday/Wednesday/Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)--No benefits offered for this role.

Pays-$30.00-$35.00 an hour

SUMMARY

Responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior human resources management. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, performance management, onboarding, recruitment/employment, and compensation/payroll. Assist with running payroll on a weekly basis and serve as a backup to the HR Specialist when HR Specialist is unavailable and/or out of the office.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information/situations regarding all employee matters with professionalism and diplomacy.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, meet deadlines with excellent time management skills.
• Must have payroll knowledge and experience, working in ADP Comprehensive Services a plus.
• Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have excellent organizational, time management skills and detail oriented.
• Must promote and encourage teamwork.

Required Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Education and Experience

• 1-2 years of HR experience
• Knowledge of payroll and HRIS systems
• Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Experience in transitioning reporting from manual processes to automated and related systems
• SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
