We are seeking a Medical Director to lead the veterinary team at Elmvale Veterinary Hospital. This role involves setting medical standards, mentoring staff, and collaborating with management to ensure operational success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor veterinarians and support staff to deliver exceptional medical care
• Develop and implement medical protocols and best practices
• Oversee surgical and medical cases to ensure positive outcomes and client satisfaction
• Collaborate with the hospital manager on operational strategies and growth initiatives
• Participate in community events and foster strong client relationships
• Provide hands‑on veterinary care, including consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries
• Promote a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous learning

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent, licensed in Ontario
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
• Commitment to delivering the highest standard of veterinary medicine
