Customer Service Representative - Commercial Lines

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines CSR to join our dynamic team. The role of the Customer Service Representative is to support the Broker so they can concentrate on working with the Producers on their renewal accounts & new business. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of negotiation skills, business development acumen, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry.

Duties

Process Changes – P&C and Automobile

o P&C - Process change in Policy Works and submit to insurer

o Automobile - Process change in BMS and submit to insurer

· Prepare dealership/lessor/lienholder confirmation

· Print liability slip to be email and mail to insured

· Prepare a liability slip enclosure letter or auto change letter to send with the slip

· Update spreadsheet for FLEET accounts

Endorsements / Downloads

o Review endorsement to ensure accuracy- if incorrect send email to u/w -if correct proceed

o Rename the document(s) in BMS

o Invoice in BMS

o Send endorsement and invoice (for agency bill) with endorsement letter outlining changes to insured

o Closed activity

o Confirm PW or BMS is accurate

o Update premiums in PW or BMS

o Update Renewals in PW or BMS

Certificates of Insurance

o Issue certificates as per request

o Leased/financed vehicle confirmations

Follow-up on outstanding activities

Claims

o Report claims

o Contact Claims Department 24H after reporting a new loss to obtain and update BMS with claims information (adjuster contact, claim #, payouts, reserves etc.)

o Contact client to advise adjuster contact information

Other duties

o Invoicing

o Payments – follow up on payment issues- processing payment

o PW maintenance

o MVR/A+ Report ordering

o Any other duties as requested

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Experience

• Applied Epic: 1 year (preferred)
• Commercial Lines Insurance: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• RIBO License (required)
