Temple Sinai Preschool is a play-based, Jewish preschool in Oakland. We strive to create a warm and welcoming classroom and school environment that supports children in positive play, building community, and developing a positive Jewish identity.

Position: Substitute Teacher (Part-Time)

Pay Rate: $23.00 - 26.00/hr commiserate with education and experience.

Job Purpose:

The Substitute Teacher works in partnership with teaching teams to provide responsive support across classrooms. This role helps ensure a warm, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children by actively engaging in the daily rhythm of the classroom. The Substitute Teacher collaborates with colleagues to uphold the school’s values and create a positive, inclusive classroom community.
