Looking for a dynamic position where every day is different?
We are looking for a Technology-Avid Automated Systems Technician who is autonomous and ready to work directly with our clients to install, repair and optimize electronic and mechanical equipment.
What You Will Do
- Respond to service calls on the road
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, and functional tests
- Provide remote technical support (email and phone)
- Assist customers in using their systems
- Participate in 24-hour on-call rotations (according to schedule)
- Occasionally travel within the region
Desired Profile
- DEC in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, excellent manual dexterity
- Customer service oriented, analytical mind, ability to learn
- Bilingualism (French/English)
Technical skills sought
- Wired/wireless networks, TCP/IP, UDP
- IT skills: Windows, Windows Server, Hyper-V, redundant servers
- Instrumentation (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Point of sale peripherals and payment systems
- Remote control software
(TeamViewer, LogMeIn, VNC) Reading mechanical/electrical/electronic drawings SQL, scripting (an asset) Traffic control, IMSA detection (an asset) AutoCAD (an asset) Why join us?
