We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Python Software Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are passionate about embedded systems and eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• May have to interact with customers to clarify the requirements of the Python-based software applications
• Write efficient, readable, and maintainable code in Python
• Work with team members to develop and validate application features
• Analyse and resolve software defects using debugging tools
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and system testing
• Support development activities related to application development (if applicable)

Skills and Qualifications

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms
• Basic knowledge of version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of software development fundamentals and debugging
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Python frameworks (such as Flask or Django)
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs
• Understanding of databases
• Exposure to Linux environment
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies
• Basic knowledge of unit testing in Python
