Job Overview – Residential Construction Team Members
We are a growing residential general contracting company seeking motivated, reliable individuals to join our team. As our workload continues to expand, we are looking to hire both an experienced Site Lead/Foreman and a General Laborer who are eager to contribute to high-quality residential projects and grow with the company.
Position 1: Site Lead / Foreman (Residential Construction)
The Site Lead will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on residential job sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. This role requires strong organizational skills, leadership ability, and a well-rounded understanding of residential construction practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate job site activities from start to finish
- Supervise crew members and subcontractors
- Ensure work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Required Skills & Experience:
- Solid working knowledge of residential construction tasks, including:
- Framing
- Window and door installation
- Siding and roofing
- Batt insulation
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Flooring and tile work
- Interior door installation
- Kitchen cabinet installation
- Door casing and baseboard trim
- Painting
- Ability to read plans and problem-solve on site
- Leadership and team management experience preferred
Position 2: General Laborer (Residential Construction)
The General Laborer will assist with a variety of construction tasks and support the crew in maintaining efficient job site operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build skills and grow within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general construction tasks across multiple phases of projects
- Load/unload materials and maintain site cleanliness
- Support skilled tradespeople as needed
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous construction experience is an asset, but not required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
