What the Role Is

Engineering Manager for the Platform Engineering Productivity team, leading a globally distributed team focused on developer productivity, CI/CD, release pipelines, and internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and prioritize a roadmap aligned with mid‑to‑long‑term vision.
• Manage, mentor, and lead a distributed team of 8 engineers, fostering cohesion.
• Advocate and unblock the team within the organization.
• Participate in Engineering Productivity and Infrastructure cohorts.
• Serve as Incident Commander on major incident on‑call rotations.
• Identify and implement process improvements enhancing productivity and software quality.

Qualifications

• Line manager experience leading diverse engineering teams.
• Experience managing cross‑team engineering projects.
• Hands‑on software engineering background with strong CS fundamentals.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, stakeholder‑management, and project management capabilities.
• A proven ability to drive technical vision, operational rigor, and cross‑team collaboration.
• Compassionate communicator with humor and genuine curiosity for people’s growth.
