• Ensure compliance with CMS, AMA, NCCI edits, and payer-specific guidelines.
• Code charts for various outpatient services like OPD visits, diagnostic services, minor procedures, therapy, labs, and radiology.
• Validate medical necessity and ensure documentation aligns with assigned codes.
• Collaborate with providers to enhance documentation accuracy.
• Assist billing and AR teams in resolving coding-related denials and appeals.
• Conduct regular self-audits to maintain high accuracy levels.
• Stay updated with coding rules, guideline updates, and regulatory changes.
