Instructional Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative Instructional Designer to develop engaging learning experiences and impactful course content. The ideal candidate should be able to translate complex concepts into learner-friendly instructional materials while ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high quality under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging learning activities and compelling course content to enhance learner retention and knowledge transfer
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and define learning objectives
• Define instructional goals and develop content aligned with learning outcomes
• Visualize instructional flow, user interface, graphics, and overall learner experience
• Conduct instructional research and learner analysis to design effective training solutions
• Apply instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom’s Taxonomy
• Develop assessments, quizzes, and practice exercises to evaluate learner performance
• Create supporting multimedia content such as audio, video, simulations, role plays, and interactive elements
• Maintain course documentation, version control, and project folders
• Ensure timely submission of deliverables while maintaining quality standards
• Work efficiently in high-pressure environments and manage multiple deadlines

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in Instructional Design or E-Learning development

Educational Qualification:

• Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, or related field

Technical Skills:

• Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate
• Knowledge of LMS platforms
• Storyline knowledge is an added advantage
• Good technical and subject comprehension skills

Instructional Design Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of ADDIE model, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and adult learning principles

Multimedia & Visual Skills:

• Basic visual design and layout understanding
• Audio and video editing skills
• Ability to create engaging multimedia learning content

Communication & Work Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Commitment to timely submission and quality delivery
