Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lesson plans for mathematics across grades (e.g., Class 6–10 or equivalent).
• Use diverse teaching methodologies, including interactive tools, real-life applications, and technology integration, to enhance student comprehension.
• Assess student performance through regular quizzes, assignments, projects, and examinations; provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Identify learning gaps and implement targeted interventions to support struggling learners and challenge high-achievers.
• Maintain accurate student records, attendance logs, and progress reports in compliance with institutional standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues and department heads to align teaching strategies, share best practices, and participate in curriculum reviews.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom culture that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and active participation.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development workshops.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of assessment tools and academic policies.

RequirementsRequirements:

• Post Graduate degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• Valid B.Ed. or D.Ed. qualification with a specialization in Mathematics or Education.
• 1–5 years of proven teaching experience in a school or educational institution.
• Strong subject knowledge in core mathematics areas including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and calculus.
• Proficiency in using digital learning tools and educational technology (e.g., Google Classroom, Smart Boards, LMS platforms).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles and abilities.
