Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Inventory Administrator - Team Lead.
The hours for this role are 7:00am - 3:30pm
The hourly rate for this position is $35.00 per hour.

Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. What you’ll do:
The Inventory Administrator is responsible for ensuring all material at Mission Systems Division in Orchard Park, NY are accurately accounted for, both physically and within the operating system. This position is also responsible for sustaining the integrity / accuracy of the inventory using cycle counts, audits, root cause analysis, and process review / change where applicable. The Inventory Administrator is responsible for the communication and coordination as needed with the Buyers, Planners, Manufacturing personnel regarding specific material management/movement needs (receipts, deliveries, kit pulls, Kanban, milk runs, cycle counts and inventory transactions), and management where applicable to ensure timely delivery to the shop floor and inventory accuracy. Support / execute updating and maintenance of system parameters related to all Material Management functions such as locators within sub-inventories, supply types related to job picks / consumption, and consumable / expense / VMI designations. Provide support as Team Lead with supervision / management specific to the Stockroom & WHSE. This position also serves as the Property Administrator as it relates to Government / Customer owned property, specifically dealing with inventory accountability, storage, handling, reporting, and the support of all audits and or requests by the customer.
Job Responsibilites
- Daily Reconciliation of inventory in receiving, move orders, cycle count reservations, and WIP to stock completions
- Troubleshoot daily issues with Oracle as identified by the cells
- Monitor / maintain 2 Bin Replenishment System
- Facilitate the execution of the Cycle Count Program to include distribution & entry of daily counts, reconciliation & root cause analysis, updating of metrics, and drive continuous improvement
- Handle and or resolve inventory issues as identified
- Coordinate update of Org items as required
- Support and lead where applicable all Customer / Government Owned Property Management functions related to inventory control and the Materials Management Team
- Support and lead where applicable the management / handling of site explosive material through receiving, issuance, and storage in the designated explosives magazines
- Monitor shelf-life material for both VMI and Stockroom Inventory
- Monitor and process where applicable all return to stock transactions from the cells
- Provide support as Team Lead for Stockroom & WHSE shifting personnel as needed to support workload / priorities, conduct tier board meetings, update production numbers, and resolve / escalate issues as they arise and or as needed"
Qualifications
Education level required
High School Diploma OR relevant Associates Degree in a business or technical discipline
Years and area of experience required
5 years of progressive inventory control / stockroom experience
Technical Knowledge
Advanced Oracle and SAP experience
Soft Skills
Advanced computer skills, Microsoft applications including email, excel, word, and teams
Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team environment. Possesses attention to detail, problem solving ability, and willingness to learn.
Additional
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Valid New York State driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in a business or technical discipline
7 years of progressive inventory control / stockroom experience
Advanced Oracle and SAP experience
Advanced computer skills, Microsoft applications including email, excel, word, and teams
Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team environment. Possesses attention to detail, problem solving ability, and willingness to learn.
