Job Title: Google Platform Engineer

Location: 3 Days a week, Hybrid - Lebanon, NJ

Duration: 6+ Months

We are looking for an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Platform Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, automation, DevOps practices, and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Cloud Build.
• Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring & Logging).
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, and governance standards are followed.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to support application deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Experience with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Deployment Manager).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, security, and cloud architecture.
