GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Junior Salesforce Administrator supports the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization’s Salesforce platform. This role provides user support, assists with system configuration and access management, maintains data quality, and develops reports and dashboards to support business operations. The position works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure Salesforce meets organizational needs and operates effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide day-to-day Salesforce user support, including login issues, permissions, and basic troubleshooting
  • Assist with user setup, profiles, roles, permission sets, and access management
  • Maintain data quality through data cleanup, validation, and basic reporting
  • Create and update reports and dashboards to support business needs
  • Help document Salesforce processes, configurations, and best practices
  • Support minor configuration changes such as fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules
  • Assist with testing and deployment of new features or enhancements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and suggest improvements
  • Escalate complex issues to senior administrators or developers when needed

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes
  • Organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Technical aptitude and comfort working within business systems and software platforms
  • Strong data accuracy and data management mindset
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

EDUCATION, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

  • Two years of experience, training or education in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technology field
  • Proficient in spreadsheet development and analysis (Excel)
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards (Salesforce, Crystal Reports, Power BI, or similar tools)
  • Experience supporting end users in a business environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) is preferred, or willingness to obtain within a defined timeframe

Assets considered (but not required):

  • 0–2 years of experience working with Salesforce (internships or project experience considered)
  • Experience in a software administration or junior software development role
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and core functionality, including Lightning Experience
  • Exposure to basic Salesforce configuration and automation (e.g., fields, validation rules, flows)
  • Experience with CRM or MRP systems

SHIFT: Days, Monday to Friday
