Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and construction practices, demonstrating proficiency with both hand and power tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and restorations. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform trim and frame carpentry tasks according to blueprints and project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction activities.
• Assist in concrete forming, plastering, and rebar installation as required.
• Engage in woodworking, including cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
• Execute roofing, siding, and flooring installation tasks with precision.
• Read schematics and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of work.
• Participate in restoration projects, including water damage restoration and mold remediation.
• Conduct heavy lifting as necessary to complete job assignments safely.
• Collaborate with team members on construction site activities while maintaining a clean work environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the construction industry with a focus on carpentry.
• Familiarity with construction estimating and project planning processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
• Experience with various carpentry techniques including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and cabinetry work.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other fabrication equipment.
• Knowledge of masonry, plumbing, electrical work, tiling, flooring installation, and construction painting is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Previous experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable.
