Job Title: School Administrative Officer Department: Administration

Location: Kallam Anji Reddy Vidyalaya, Hyderabad

Position Overview

The Administrative Officer will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of school administrative operations. The role involves managing institutional records, coordinating admissions, supporting academic and operational processes, overseeing infrastructure and resources, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Operations

Maintain accurate and organized records of students, staff, and institutional documentation in both physical and digital formats.

Coordinate the admissions process, including documentation, communication, and data management.

Ensure effective day-to-day administrative functioning of the school.

Resource & Infrastructure Management

Oversee infrastructure, transport, housekeeping, safety, and campus facilities.

Manage assets and ensure proper maintenance of school infrastructure and equipment.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and emergency preparedness protocols.

Financial & Procurement Support

Support budgeting, billing, procurement, and vendor coordination.

Assist in maintaining financial records, fee management processes, and administrative audits.

Monitor inventory and asset utilization.

Academic & Institutional Support

Assist with academic administration, including examinations, assessments, and board-related documentation.

Support teacher development initiatives, school programs, and institutional events.

Coordinate with academic staff and leadership for smooth program execution.

Digital Systems & Reporting

Support adoption and use of digital administrative systems, including ERP platforms and reporting tools.

Ensure timely updates and reporting through CBSE-mandated portals and institutional systems.

Functional Competencies

Understanding of CBSE affiliation by-laws, NEP 2020, and statutory compliance requirements.

Experience managing admissions, attendance records, and student data as per regulatory norms.

Familiarity with school administration processes including examinations, HR coordination, and institutional documentation.

Knowledge of compliance requirements related to infrastructure, safety, transport, and health standards in schools.

Ability to support inspections, audits, and mandatory regulatory disclosures.
