As a Milieu Counselor, champion a therapeutic environment for residents experiencing homelessness. Engage actively with clients, maintain property standards, and assist in crisis management during night shifts.

This pivotal role focuses on building community trust and providing necessary support to residents facing significant challenges. You will facilitate relationship-building, respond to emergencies, and document vital interactions, while also assisting in property management tasks. Collaboration with team members to create engaging activities is key to fostering a positive living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Distribute medication and assist with meal service
• Conduct regular checks on common areas for cleanliness
• Respond to resident complaints and issues
• Facilitate therapeutic support groups and activities
• Monitor general access areas for safety

Requirements

• Basic understanding of issues related to homelessness
• Experience managing various client behaviors
• Ability to communicate effectively in diverse settings
• Preferred: Experience in residential property management
• Preferred: Valid driver’s license for agency-related business
