About You And This Role

As a

Compensation & Benefits /Total Rewards Specialist within HR, based in

Mumbai, India you enable a best-in-class employee experience through exceptional service delivery and subject matter consultation. You help manage, implement, and deliver Total Rewards solutions across multiple countries in the EMEAI region.

You bring working knowledge of relevant theories, practices, and procedures, plus general business understanding gained through education and experience. You communicate clearly, ask questions to confirm understanding, and apply established procedures to analyze issues and resolve problems. You are accountable for your assigned contributions (with no direct supervisory responsibility), meet deadlines using standard practices, and continuously look for ways to improve how work gets done.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports the implementation and delivery of end-to-end solutions in Total Rewards to deliver a best-in-class employee experience for multiple countries
  • Supports program development related to their area(s) of expertise to improve the employee experience, balanced with function-specific needs and drivers
  • Engages with third party providers to establish, develop and review the suite of services in Total Rewards
  • Addresses escalated HR inquiries and reviewer/approver of transactions, as applicable.
  • Provides information and insights continuously to improve Knowledge Base and Case Management content for Total Rewards

Benefits

  • To independently manage regional benefits operations and programs to deliver a best-in-class employee experience.
  • To oversee benefit portals, benchmarking, medical/pension/life/accident insurance programs, and wellbeing initiatives.

Compensation

  • To manage regional compensation operations and programs to deliver a best-in-class employee experience.
  • To participate and run remuneration surveys and market benchmarking, present recommendations to stakeholders, and manage the pay-planning cycle to keep salary ranges competitive.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related area.
  • At least 4+ years of Compensation and Benefits experience, or HR / Finance related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Power Apps

  • Fluency in English
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a sense of urgency in a highly dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively work through other people and be collaborative with an End-to-End mindset.
  • Ability to put Dow's success before team and his/her own and able to make decisions that enable Dow to outperform competition
  • Ability to support Continuous (digital) process improvement

Additional Notes

  • We offer workplace flexibility but do require employees to be at least 4 days per week in the office.
