Role Description

This full-time, on-site Fashion Designer Cum Merchandiser role is located in Amravati. The role involves conceptualizing and designing innovative apparel collections, managing production processes, coordinating with clients, and monitoring current fashion trends. Responsibilities also include material selection, overseeing quality control throughout the production cycle, and collaborating with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Fashion Designing, including expertise in sketching, pattern making, and using design software such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW
• Strong background in Merchandising and Production Management, such as planning, sourcing, and supply chain coordination
• Knowledge of Textile Materials and Fabric Selection suited for diverse apparel designs
• Understanding of Market Trends, Consumer Preferences, and the apparel industry to align designs with customer demands
• Demonstrated skills in Team Collaboration, Communication, and Vendor Management
• Strong sense of color theory, prints, and aesthetic design principles
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Management, or related field
• Previous experience in the fashion industry or apparel design is advantageous
