In this role, you will use your quantitative background to mentor fellow scientists, dive into large datasets, and turn insights into recommendations that drive decisions for the entire organization.

If you enjoy finding patterns amid chaos and have experience using analytics to impact revenue, growth, and operations, then this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use quantitative analysis and present data to uncover what drives the business.
  • Build full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other statistical tools.
  • Work with and mentor junior analysts on advanced methods to solve complex challenges.
  • Produce data-driven recommendations and validate findings using statistical techniques and hypothesis testing.
  • Collaborate with business and product leaders to understand marketplace dynamics, user behaviors, and long-term trends.
  • Identify and measure key levers to influence essential metrics and support decision-making.
  • Work backwards from understanding and sizing problems to developing effective solutions.
  • Develop executive-facing dashboards to track progress against company goals and collaborate with engineering on data logging implementations.

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or a related role.
  • Experience with funnel optimization, user segmentation, cohort analyses, time series analyses, and regression models.
  • Expertise in SQL queries, ETL, A/B Testing, and statistical analysis using tools like Matlab, R, SAS, or Python.
  • Proficiency in one or more analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Chartio, Looker, Tableau).
  • Ability to solve ambiguous problems in a structured, hypothesis-driven, and data-supported manner.
