Prototyping & Manufacturing Technician Role

Play a crucial role in defence innovation as a Prototyping Technician at Dominion Dynamics in Ottawa. Your expertise in low-volume manufacturing will directly influence mission success. In this full-time position, you'll be involved in all stages of hardware development, including prototyping and testing.

You'll work within a collaborative team structure to engineer systems capable of operating in extreme conditions. Your hands-on approach will enhance manufacturability and support rapid deployment phases. Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and test electronic systems per engineering designs
• Execute SMT and through-hole soldering with precision
• Construct wire harnesses, ensuring quality and reliability
• Support the transition of prototypes to production-ready systems
• Troubleshoot and validate electrical circuits using lab tools Requirements:
• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology or related field
• Over 5 years of hands-on electronics experience
• Strong skills in soldering and circuit diagnostics
• Proficient with tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters
