Job Title- GNA or Geriatric Nursing Assistant or Travel GNA or CNA or Travel CNA or Nursing Assistant

Location- Bowie MD

Shift- 7:00 AM to 03:00 PM & 11:00 PM to 07:00 AM

Pay Rate- $18-20/hr.

Contract Duration- 8 weeks with possible extension

Must Have GNA Active License

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to support ongoing health assessments
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner
• Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Maintain infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
• Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and behavioral health support
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient service across inpatient, outpatient, or long-term care settings
