Job Summary
For those looking to be part of our team and deliver exceptional customer service to all patrons, we have a vacancy for a Entry Level Customer Service. The suitable candidate will assist in the overall management of the store on a daily basis, support customers, and help ensure a clean, safe, and orderly store environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with their questions and provide recommendations for products
- Carry out transactions efficiently using the provided cash register for sales
- Uphold the security of cash reserves and safeguard the assets under the company's ownership
- Ensure that products are well-represented on shelves and adequately stocked
- Handle the acceptance and unloading of merchandise shipments; support stock renewal
- Cultivate a store setting that is both positive and respectful while prioritizing safety
- Undertake responsibilities for maintaining store cleanliness, such as restocking restroom supplies, sweeping floors, mopping, and trash removal
- Ensure that the store maintains a tidy and professional image throughout
- Perform tasks as instructed by superiors
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ideal candidates will have prior customer service experience in retail, hospitality, restaurants, grocery, or similar environments
- Having the skill to understand instructions and operational documents is necessary for meeting job requirements
- Physically strong enough to lift objects weighing between 30 and 50 pounds and conduct tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and carrying
- Possessing exceptional proficiency in customer relations and communication
- Effective organizational and communication aptitudes are highly beneficial
- Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills are indispensable for managing issues successfully
