DK-Lok Canada is looking to expand our sales team in Stoney Creek with and inside sale/shipper receiver representative that will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objective. You must be comfortable communicating with customers in person, on the phone or via email. We are looking for a motivated individual that has exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
The inside sales/shipper reciever representative will be responsible for communicating with customers, understanding customer needs and ensuring a smooth sales process.
Primary Scope
Reporting to the Operations Manager Inside Sales provides quality service for existing and new customers, works with the outside sales team to maximize customer service and provide critical technical support.
Main Duties
Product Sales - Working together with and providing support for the Sales Team with inside counter sales and product quotes, follow up on pending sales from both the vendor and the customer, On Call Rotation and Shipping & receiving
Customer Service - Manages emails and phone calls from customers, conveying a sense of urgency when responding to customer inquiries, assess customers’ needs and provide product benefits to satisfy those needs, Follow up on pending sales
Branch Inventory - Conduct monthly cycle counts, adjust inventory as needed, Stocking shelfs, Picking orders
House Keeping- Cleaning the branch, filing paper work
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Possess creativity and flexibility to assess and meet customer needs
Strong working relationships with the company’s Sales Group
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
Ability to interact and perform successfully within a team environment
Ability to effectively manage time and carry out multiple tasks within a set time period
Detail oriented
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Flexible attitude to hours of work
Good phone etiquette
EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of grade 12
Familiar with product lines similar to DK-LOK products
Working knowledge of applicable regulatory standards
Previous sales experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is a mix of desk and shop work, some physical strength required.
Ideal candidate is required to be able to move easily about the buildings and yards and to have good vision and auditory function.
