About Divert Divert is a circular economy company on a mission to prevent food from being wasted through nationwide infrastructure and innovative technologies Founded in 2007 the company provides an end to end solution that leverages data to prevent waste facilitates edible food recovery to provide to people in need and transforms unsold food products into renewable energy to power communities Through this integrated approach to reducing wasted foodPrevent Provide PowerDivert works with customers across the US to reduce wasted food and positively impact people and the environment What youll do We are seeking a temporary Recruiting Specialist for 30 40 hrsweek starting as early as June 1st we anticipate this assignment lasting through likely September 1 2026; however the duration may vary depending on business needs Reporting to the Recruiting Sr Manager and working remotely This role plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process for Hiring Managers This role will partner closely with leadership mainly in our production facilities located across the United States and will focus on high volume hourly recruitment for our plants This is a remote position the person in this role will be required to reside in the pacific or central time zone Working Hours 9 am to 6 pm or 10 am to 7 pm local time 3040 hrsweek This is a temporary position starting as early as June 1 2026 We anticipate this assignment lasting through likely September 1st 2026; however the duration may vary depending on business needs Pay 34 hour Responsibilities Manage a full cycle recruitment process including but not limited to resume review phone screening referring candidates for hiring manager interviews and beyondCorrespond with candidates via email phone and text messageReview and post requisitions in a timely manner in the Clear Co ATS systemCreate external job postings on various 3rd party sites such as diversity job boards and campus recruitingScheduling and coordinating candidate interviews troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed; communicating throughout the processUtilize 3rd party sites and ATS to source passive candidatesPartner with plant leadership throughout the recruiting processEnsure legal compliance by monitoring applicable federal and state HR requirements and maintaining records accordinglyOther projects and duties as assignedWhat were looking for Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree preferred; or equivalent experienceAt least one year experience in Talent AcquisitionRecruiting managing high volume hourlynon exempt recruitment ideally in manufacturing or productionMinimum 2 years experience in a customer service or support settingExceptional written and verbal communication skillsOrganized and detail orientedPrior experience with recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Indeed etc highly preferredPrior experience with an Applicant Tracking System Clear Co is preferred but not requiredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to handle confidential matters with discretionFamiliarity with Microsoft Suite of products Divert Inc provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race color religion age sex national origin disability status genetics protected veteran status sexual orientation gender identity or expression or any other characteristic protected by federal state or local laws We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process If you need assistance or accommodation please contact the Divert Recruiting Team Recruitingdivertinccom
