Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operation of tow truck services. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, safety protocols, and the ability to handle various roadside situations professionally.

Duties

• Safely operate tow trucks to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles to designated locations.
• Assist customers with vehicle issues in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on tow trucks to ensure optimal performance.
• Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle or equipment issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all towing activities and related reports.
• Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws during operations.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and other team members to prioritize jobs efficiently.
• Assist with forklift operation or automotive repairs as needed, leveraging relevant skills.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot vehicle or equipment issues effectively.
• Strong customer service skills to handle roadside assistance with professionalism and empathy.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record. Class 3 (Q endorsement) preferred
• Automotive repair skills are advantageous for minor repairs on-site or during roadside assistance.
• Ability to work independently in various weather conditions and stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail for accurate reporting and customer interactions. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team providing essential roadside assistance services while utilizing a diverse skill set in automotive and mechanical fields.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
