Payroll Manager

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee full-cycle payroll operations for employees across multiple states. This role ensures accurate, timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations. This will be a contract role with a pay rate of $38-45 per hour commensurate with experience. In office Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing (hourly & salaried)
• Administer payroll through ADP Workforce Now
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws
• Maintain payroll records, tax filings, and year-end reporting (W-2s)
• Partner with HR and Accounting on payroll data, reporting, and reconciliations
• Resolve employee payroll inquiries

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-state, high-volume payroll experience
• Hands-on ADP Workforce Now experience is required
• Experience in hospitality or multi-location environments
• Background as a lead or standalone payroll professional
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots)
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
