Job Description
Contract: 3 Months

Hours: 40 hours/week
Rate: $65/hour
Start Date: March 2, 2026
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong skills in Power BI, SQL, and data modeling to support our Data Analysis & Technology team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in building dashboards , performing data analysis, and integrating data from multiple sources to drive meaningful business insights.
You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, work with complex datasets, and deliver high‑impact analytics that support data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Gather data from databases, APIs, and external systems.
- Integrate, validate, and maintain large datasets for analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Clean and preprocess raw data to remove inconsistencies or errors.
- Transform data into structured formats suitable for reporting.
- Apply quality checks to ensure data reliability.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and performance metrics.
- Use statistical and analytical methods to support business decisions.
- Perform descriptive, exploratory, and predictive analysis as required.
- Develop dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI (inventory, sales , operational data).
- Present analytical findings in a clear and actionable format.
- Work with business, product, and engineering teams to understand data requirements.
- Translate complex data into clear narratives for non‑technical users.
- Support KPI development and measurement frameworks.
- Maintain compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory guidelines.
- Implement quality control processes for ongoing data accuracy.
- Monitor data sources for anomalies or inconsistencies.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for immediate data requests.
- Conduct rapid ad‑hoc analysis to support urgent business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, Power BI development , creating Dashboards , Reports and SQL query design.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (Desktop, Service, Power Query).
- Expertise in DAX for complex measures and calculated fields.
- Experience building semantic data models .
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases/data warehousing.
- Knowledge of Python for data manipulation.
- Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL Database, Data Factory).
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with AI technologies is an asset.
