Job Description
As a Videographer & Motion Graphics Designer at our Marketing COE team in Mumbai, your role will involve creating and editing compelling live-action and motion graphics content to support our social media presence, marketing campaigns, events, and internal communications. You will report directly to the COE Marketing Manager in Mumbai and work closely with the creative team to ensure brand consistency and engaging storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, storyboard, and execute video and animation projects aligning with campaign objectives.
- Edit video content for various uses like social media, websites, events, advertising campaigns, and internal presentations.
- Design and animate motion graphics packages such as lower thirds, transitions, infographics, and explainer animations.
- Collaborate to integrate brand visuals, typography, and dynamic design into video projects.
- Shoot original video content like interviews, b-roll, event footage, and enhance them with graphics and animation.
- Source, cut, and assemble footage into cohesive narratives with appropriate pacing, music, and graphics.
- Ensure brand identity consistency across live-action video and animated content.
- Experiment with new techniques in 2D/3D animation, kinetic typography, and interactive media to keep content engaging.
- Manage and organize video assets, project files, and archival footage.
- Stay updated with trends, techniques, and technologies in video, motion graphics, and digital storytelling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film, Design, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics/animation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Experience with 2D animation, kinetic typography, and animated explainer videos.
- Strong design sensibility with an understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and color theory in motion.
- Familiarity with Cinema 4D, Blender, or other 3D tools is a plus.
- Experience in sourcing and editing stock video content.
- Knowledge of file formats, resolutions, and sizing requirements for different platforms.
- Experience in shooting original video content is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and communication skills for collaboration within a global team environment.
