SQL Server Database Administrator

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator to manage and optimize our organization’s database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining database performance, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the development and deployment of database solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of various database technologies, scripting languages, and performance tuning techniques to ensure seamless data operations across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 7 years of experience directly related to Database Administration Services and requires having knowledge on MS SQL, DB2, MySQL and Sybase;
• Experience in setup, configuring, and troubleshooting of MS SQL, DB2, MySQL and Sybase;
• Experience creating database standards, guidelines, and procedures;
• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment, establish priorities, and meet tight deadlines; and
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills.

Pay: From $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 per week

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience

• Database administration: 6 years (required)
• MS SQL, DB2, MySQL and Sybase: 6 years (preferred)
