Overview
We are seeking experienced
Senior Android Engineers
to join a dynamic team on a contract basis. These roles are designed to provide coverage during the summer period while supporting ongoing and upcoming initiatives. Candidates must be adaptable, able to ramp up quickly, and contribute across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Quickly onboard and contribute to existing codebases and ongoing projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers
- Support multiple initiatives simultaneously and provide coverage as needed
- Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Android development
- Strong proficiency in
Kotlin and/or Java
- Experience with modern Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.)
- Solid understanding of Android SDK, APIs, and frameworks
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
- Ability to quickly understand and work within existing systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
