Operator — Path to Ownership

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced digital marketing professional to take over the day to day operations of an established agency through a vendor takeback arrangement.

The operator keeps the majority of collected revenue as compensation and makes structured monthly payments to the current owner. Full ownership transfers at the end of the agreed term. Pay details below.

This is an independent operator arrangement. The operator is responsible for running the business autonomously, managing their own taxes and business expenses, and making structured monthly payments to the current owner toward full ownership.

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Has agency or freelance experience and wants to own their own book of business
• Is entrepreneurially minded and ready to operate independently
• Wants a clear path to ownership without starting from scratch
• Is not looking for a traditional salaried position with a manager
• ***Has hands on experience running Google ads, Meta ads & SEO programs

• Established digital marketing agency operating for about 10 years
• Stable roster of long term retainer clients
• Six figure annual recurring revenue
• Core services: Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO
• Fully remote with no office overhead
• Complete documentation and transition support provided

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Manage all client Google Ads, Meta Ads, and SEO accounts independently
• Build, optimize, and report on paid search and social campaigns
• Conduct monthly client reporting and strategic commentary
• Manage all client communication and relationships
• Oversee content creation and basic WordPress updates
• Handle monthly client invoicing and collections
• Manage day to day business operations autonomously

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years hands on Google Ads campaign management — search, display, performance max
• Minimum 3 years Meta Ads experience — lead generation, conversion campaigns, creative testing
• SEO experience — on page, local SEO, Google Search Console
• Content creation and copywriting capability
• Basic WordPress editing
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills
• Experience managing multiple client accounts independently without oversight
• Previous freelance or business ownership experience strongly preferred

Compensation

Pay: From $65,000*

*The operator retains a portion of collected monthly revenue as compensation, this is flexible. A structured monthly payment is made to the current owner over an agreed term. Specific financial details are shared with qualified candidates only.
