Job Description

As a Demand & Distribution Planner, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement 12 - 24 month demand and distribution plans for required products, materials, and components. You will collaborate with operational, sales, marketing, finance, and other stakeholders to understand anticipated demand and product-specific forecasting drivers. Your goal is to ensure that the developed plans align with revenue forecasts, drive efficiencies, and strike a balance between fulfillment and replenishment needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Demand & Distribution Planning for a specific location, department, or designated product line or business area.
  • Collaborate with assigned business, product, and other stakeholders to comprehend demand requirements, forecasting drivers, revenue metrics, and other key factors influencing demand and distribution planning.
  • Develop, update, and maintain demand and distribution plans following established procedures, including configurable product and material planning.
  • Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to expedite purchase orders for timely delivery of correct products and streamline processes for efficiency.
  • Maintain records of delivery, distribution, utilization, and other activities, and prepare monthly and periodic progress reports.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery, invoicing, and other discrepancies.
  • Ensure documentation adheres to internal standards, business controls, management expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support departmental goals for expense management, high service levels, and reduction of excess inventory with the Global material team.
  • Prepare and contribute to monthly global Sales and Operations Planning (SNOP) meetings.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in Demand and Distribution Planning, product and material planning, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong business English skills (both written and spoken).
