Job Overview

We are looking for a NOC Engineer – Voice (VoIP) with 0–3 years of telecom or network operations experience to monitor voice traffic, troubleshoot routing and call quality issues, and ensure smooth network operations. This role is suitable for freshers as well as candidates with up to 3 years of experience in telecom or VoIP support.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor VoIP traffic and system/network alerts

Troubleshoot call drops, call quality issues, and routing problems

Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams for issue resolution

Analyze CDRs and voice traffic reports

Work with VoIP protocols such as SIP and RTP

Perform basic Linux server checks and log analysis

Assist in voice routing updates and basic system maintenance

Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and support tickets

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in telecom, networking, or NOC operations

Basic understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP)

Familiarity with VoIP platforms like FreeSWITCH or Asterisk is a plus

Basic Linux command-line knowledge

Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Good to Have

Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, or PRTG

Understanding of voice routing, number portability, and HLR lookups
