You will own significant features end-to-end, tackle technical hurdles, and enrich the team with your engineering experience, including mentoring junior engineers. You will guide projects with multiple engineers collaborating to deliver major features. You will work jointly in a cross-functional team, including close collaboration with Product Managers to advocate for technical initiatives for the team. What you’ll do  <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Develop and maintain Dialpad's web & desktop applications using modern technologies.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with the data science team to build a world-class Agentic AI framework.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Be able to use AI tools like Claude, Gemini, etc., to build world-class features quickly.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using best practices along with unit tests.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ensure that features are shipped on time and with the highest quality.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Take on on-call activities to support and resolve issues from QA and customers.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Be responsible for deploying new releases on a weekly release cadence.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., DevOps, QA, Product, UX) to build and use common components and practices across Dialpad products.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Mentor junior engineers and help them grow their skills and expertise.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> </ul> Skills you’ll bring <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">6-10 years of experience in full-stack software engineering.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong experience in writing high-performance, reusable, and reliable Python code.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong experience with RESTful APIs.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong experience in modern cloud platforms like GCP or other cloud infrastructures.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong experience in documentation for architectural designs, technical decisions, and best practices.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue/React, as well as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience with databases, SQL/NoSQL.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience in mentoring junior engineers and helping them grow their skills.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Experience with Agile development methodologies.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong communication and collaboration skills.</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">For exceptional talent based in British Columbia, Canada the target base salary range for this position is posted below.
