  • *Industrial Plumbing**

This position requires a Public Trust.

  • *Compensation & Benefits**:
  • Estimated Starting Salary Range for Industrial Plumbing: $65,000 - $70,000
  • Pay commensurate with experience.
  • *Industrial Plumbing Responsibilities Include**:
  • Install, inspect, and maintain industrial plumbing systems, including water, steam, gas, and waste systems.
  • Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and other plumbing-related issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and repairs.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Install and maintain pumps, valves, water heaters, backflow preventers, and other plumbing components.
  • Weld, solder, or braze pipes and fittings as needed.
  • Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize plumbing efficiency in industrial operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Respond to emergency plumbing situations and provide timely resolutions.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required.
  • *Industrial Plumbing Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested**:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Journeyman or Master Plumber certification (if required by state/local regulations).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or commercial plumbing.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, pipefitting, and industrial piping systems.
  • Experience with steam, gas, and high-pressure water systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using plumbing tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and emergency call-ins as needed.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
  • *Preferred Qualifications**:
  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industrial plumbing best practices.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems is a plus.
