As an HVAC Mechanic I at Solution One Industries Inc, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, cooling, ventilation, and related systems. Your role will involve a variety of technical tasks, requiring knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and structural layout. You will also need to have an understanding of commercial mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to read blueprints.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Following procedures, regulations, and guidelines to minimize errors and safety risks
• Mounting compressor and condenser units, fabricating, assembling, and installing ductwork and chassis parts
• Installing evaporator units, expansion and discharge valves, and humidifiers into the system
• Cutting and bending tubing, joining tubing or pipes to refrigerating units, and performing repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment
• Testing joints and connections for gas leaks, assessing drain problems, and connecting various components to control panels

Qualifications required for this position include:

• Knowledge of regulations regarding HVAC, including environmental and indoor air quality
• Ability to manage material resources and time effectively, estimate time and materials, and adapt to changing work priorities
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Customer service skills to respond to inquiries and requests promptly
• Flexibility to build effective working relationships with staff, customers, and others

Additionally, you may be required to have a valid EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification and Chlorofluorocarbons Certification. One year of work experience in HVAC refrigeration equipment installation, repair, and maintenance is preferred.
