About the job:

We are looking for a thoughtful, driven, and culturally aware Talent and Partnerships Manager to help expand Devangana's work across literature, the arts, as well as our non-profit, Brain Bristle's work across autism inclusion, educational equity and public engagement.

This role sits closely with Devangana and is ideal for someone who is deeply relational, proactive, well versed with the arts and literary network, is emotionally intelligent, and excited by the possibility of building events, collaborations and meaningful partnerships and opportunities.

Devangana Mishra is a writer, poet, and works with venues, events and brands that support our work from the arts to education. This role will also involve supporting our leadership team to grow their education and inclusion blueprint for autism through the work of our non profit, Brain Bristle.

What the Role Involves

Partnerships & Collaborations

• Build and sustain partnerships with brands, cultural institutions, bookstores, galleries, festivals, schools, universities, foundations, and aligned organisations
• Identify collaboration opportunities in the areas of literary merit, poetry and art.
• Develop and maintain long-term institutional relationships

Events & Public Engagement

• Secure speaking opportunities, panels, workshops, podcasts, and festival invitations for the founder and organisation
• Coordinate participation in literary, educational, social impact, and arts-related events
• Help conceptualise and execute public-facing events and collaborations

Brand & Strategic Opportunities

• Explore aligned paid partnerships and collaborations with brands and organisations
• Create partnership decks, proposals, outreach material, and presentations
• Build opportunities that support both visibility and sustainability for the organisation

Communications & Representation

• Support external communications and relationship management
• Assist with outreach to media, institutions, collaborators, and networks
• Help shape how our founder's work with the literary arts and Brain Bristle and its work are positioned publicly

Who Were Looking For

Someone who:

• Has experience with artist management
• Is an excellent communicator and relationship builder
• Has strong writing and presentation skills
• Is organised, self-driven, and proactive
• Can move between creative, educational, nonprofit, and institutional spaces with ease
• Understands nuance, sensitivity, and people-centred work
• Believes deeply in inclusion, educational equity, and disability rights

Preferred Experience

• Experience in partnerships, communications, PR, artist management, social impact, media, publishing, events, or community building
• Familiarity with the arts, education, nonprofit, or cultural sectors
• Experience working with founders, creatives, or mission-led organisations is a plus
