M365 Front-end Developer, Web Publisher, #1019 Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a positive adjudication for a Public Trust We are seeking a mid-level M365 Front-End Developer / Web Publisher to support Operations and Maintenance activities for a component of a federal agency. This role supports internal and external websites using Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Drupal, and related technologies. This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule of 9:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.  The selected candidate will join a collaborative team of developers, analysts/testers, and web publishers supporting mission-critical government websites and applications.  What You'll Be Doing   <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Provide development, operations, and maintenance support for SharePoint Online (M365) intranet environments</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Support requirements gathering, documentation, and customer demonstrations</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Publish and maintain content on public-facing (Drupal) and intranet (M365) websites</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Provide testing support for monthly release deployments, including unit, regression, and accessibility testing</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Support short turnaround publishing requests in a deadline-driven environment</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Participate in an on-call rotation (~1 week per month) to provide after-hours emergency publishing support (approximately 4–5 calls per month)</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Troubleshoot site issues in coordination with platform engineers and Microsoft support</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Monitor Microsoft Message Center for platform updates and changes</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Define and validate acceptance criteria for website features</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Provide solution recommendations during team and client meetings</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Collaborate with external agencies on U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) features and releases</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Maintain compliance with Section 508 accessibility requirements</li> </ul>  Required Education, Skills, and Experience: <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience)</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">1–3 years of experience designing, building, maintaining, and publishing business or government websites</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">3–5 years of experience working with Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint Online</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience with responsive website design and Section 508 accessibility standards</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience publishing content to public and intranet sites (Drupal CMS experience preferred)</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience supporting structured testing activities (unit, regression, accessibility)</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Proficiency with HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript (JQuery, Bootstrap, etc.)</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience with SharePoint Online and Power Platform (including Power Automate)</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across platforms and systems</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Ability to work the required Eastern Time Zone schedule</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Familiarity with U.S. Web Design System (USWDS)</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for image editing</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Experience supporting branded government websites</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Strong attention to detail</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Customer-focused mindset</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li> </ul>  Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience: <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Bachelor’s degree in the humanities with strong work experience in a technical field preferred</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">M365 certification(s) desired</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Google UX Design Certification is a plus</li> <li class="x_MsoNormal">Drupal CMS experience preferred</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion">Who We Are Dev Technology is a growing IT company with an employee-centric culture that works on mission-critical projects for the federal government.
