Sr. Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong experience in overhead and underground power distribution design, utility coordination, and project management. This role supports electrical infrastructure projects across commercial, utility, and institutional environments, focusing on reliable, code-compliant power delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Design overhead and underground electrical distribution systems including medium and low voltage networks.
• Develop construction drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations for electrical infrastructure projects.
• Manage projects from concept through construction including scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination.
• Coordinate with utilities, municipalities, and permitting agencies to support project approvals and interconnections.
• Perform field investigations, site walks, and construction support to resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure constructability and design integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical distribution design including overhead and underground systems.
• Experience preparing construction drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and utility coordination processes.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• PE license strongly preferred; experience with PEPCO standards and projects is a strong plus.
