As a Security Manager in the Facility Management / Operations department of a mixed-use residential and office tower in Mumbai, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of residents, tenants, staff, and assets. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring security policies and procedures for the property
- Ensuring 24/7 security coverage across residential and commercial areas
- Conducting regular security audits, risk assessments, and inspections
- Supervising, training, and managing security guards and supervisors
- Conducting daily briefings and shift handovers with guards
- Ensuring proper deployment, discipline, and performance of all security staff
- Establishing and enforcing emergency response procedures such as fire, medical emergencies, and evacuations
- Coordinating mock drills, safety training sessions, and maintenance of fire safety systems, alarms, and CCTV systems
- Monitoring CCTV operations, access control systems, visitor management, and parking security
- Investigating incidents, breaches, or suspicious activities, maintaining incident logs, preparing detailed reports, and liaising with local authorities
- Ensuring security alignment with maintenance activities, monitoring vendor and contractor movements within the premises, and supporting overall facility operations
Qualifications and Skills required for this role include:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
- Minimum 510 years of experience in security management, preferably in residential/commercial complexes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations, fire systems, and emergency procedures
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control, and security technologies
