Job Title: Music Teacher
Location: Deep Academic Heights, Atrauliya, Azamgarh, (UP)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Music Teacher to inspire and educate students in the joy and discipline of music. The ideal candidate will possess a deep love for music and the ability to teach a variety of musical forms, including vocal and instrumental music, music theory, and music history. The Music Teacher will cultivate students’ musical talents, enhance their appreciation for music, and contribute to the overall development of students through both individual and group lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning and Instruction:
- Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons that cater to different skill levels.
- Teach a wide range of music subjects, including but not limited to:
- Music theory and composition
- Vocal training and choir direction
- Instrumental instruction (e.g., piano, guitar, strings, brass, percussion)
- Music history and appreciation
- Design and implement hands-on activities such as group performances, listening exercises, and creative projects.
- Tailor lessons to suit students’ individual needs and interests, encouraging creativity and exploration.
- Classroom Management:
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that fosters creativity, focus, and collaboration.
- Set clear expectations for student behavior, ensuring students participate fully and engage in their learning.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their musical skills.
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Regularly assess student progress through individual and group performances, written tests, and practical exercises.
- Track student achievements and maintain records of progress in both theory and performance.
- Provide feedback and grades to students and communicate with parents about student progress.
- Choral and Instrumental Ensembles:
- Direct and lead school choirs, bands, orchestras, and other musical ensembles.
- Organize and rehearse performances for school events such as concerts, festivals, and recitals.
- Guide students in the preparation of musical pieces for public performances, ensuring students develop confidence and stage presence.
- Extracurricular Activities:
- Lead or assist with music-related extracurricular activities such as music clubs, talent shows, and after-school music lessons.
- Encourage student participation in regional or national music competitions or festivals.
- Plan and oversee student performances in the school community, including holiday concerts, talent shows, and other music-related events.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with colleagues in the Performing Arts Department to ensure a well-rounded and integrated arts curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ progress and achievements.
- Attend faculty meetings, music department meetings, and professional development workshops.
- Material and Resource Management:
- Ensure the proper care and maintenance of music equipment, including instruments, sheet music, and audio/visual tools.
- Keep track of inventory for classroom materials and music resources, ensuring everything is in good working condition.
- Manage the classroom environment to provide a safe, organized, and inspirational space for music learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of teaching experience in a school setting (experience with diverse age groups is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in various musical forms and instruments.
- Knowledge of music theory, history, and pedagogical techniques.
- Strong vocal and/or instrumental performance skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students through the power of music.
- Certifications: Valid teaching certification in music (or equivalent as required by local education authorities).
Salary:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Accommodation available for outstation candidate.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
