Job Description
Hiring: Senior Data Platform Engineer (Snowflake) – India (Remote)
We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to support a global consulting client in building and improving scalable data systems.
What You’ll Work On:
- Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest data from AI tools and internal platforms into Snowflake
- Clean, transform, and process large datasets using Python and Spark
- Improve and standardize existing Snowflake schemas, tables, and overall data structure
- Design and manage workflows using Airflow (or similar tools)
- Deploy and maintain pipelines using CI/CD (GitHub Actions, AWS Glue)
- Integrate and work with third-party and internal APIs
- Manage data access and ensure secure, reliable data usage
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand data needs and deliver insights
Requirements
- 6+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong Python skills
- Experience with Airflow (or similar orchestration tools)
- Hands-on experience with AWS (Glue, Lambda)
- Strong experience with Spark
- Snowflake (or similar data warehouse such as Redshift or BigQuery)
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and API integrations
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar databases
