Cloud & CDN Engineer (Akamai + AWS)

We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of Cloud & CDN Engineer (Akamai + AWS) to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.

Contract term : 6 months with possibility of extension

Role type: Hybrid (2-3 days in office required)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining scalable applications while leveraging cloud-native solutions on AWS.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Able to Configure and optimize Akamai CDN settings to improve performance, reduce latency.
• Configure security policies and rules to protect web applications and digital assets.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration management using Ansible.
• Conduct performance testing, load testing, security testing to validate Akamai Configurations.
• Security & Performance: Knowledge of Akamai Netstorage for content caching, security, web performance and global CDN optimization.
• Implementing caching strategies, edge computing to enhance content delivery on Akamai Netstorage
• Monitor CDN performance, traffic patterns, and security events using Akamai's monitoring and analytics tools.
• Analyze performance metrics, logs and reports to identify bottlenecks, optimize configurations and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams, including developers and leads and security teams to design, implement and optimize Akamai configurations.
• AWS Cloud Services: Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, and Cognito (nice-to-have)
